This course is designed for the dental clinician who desires to maintain a solid foundation in endodontics, and stay at the forefront of the latest scientific advancement, endodontic techniques and schools of thought.
Discussion will include a review of biological principles, treatment planning, disinfection, and NITI metallurgy that has changed technical aspects of endodontic therapy.

The Science & Physics of Instrumentation:
Advances in metallurgy and file engineering that address cyclic fatigue and file separation
What to do about the smear layer

Dr. Karam Ashoo received his dental degree in 2003 and his endodontic specialty degree in 2008 from Columbia University in New York City. During his endodontic specialty training he discovered a passion for teaching and sharing his knowledge. He currently teaches the graduate Endodontic Program at the Faculty of Dentistry for the University of Toronto. Dr. Ashoo adopts and employs the latest technologies in his presentations and in his practice and is dedicated to endodontic excellence. He has lectured in New York, Toronto and also internationally. Dr. Ashoo maintains his private practices in Toronto and Georgetown, ON.
